Pangea (also Pangaea)
= Pan- + Greek gaia, earth
A hypothetical supercontinent that included all the landmasses
of the earth before the Triassic Period.
-- American Heritage Dictionary
Why Pangea? Well, geologist Alfred Wegener coined this scientific
term to describe his theory that all of the earth's landmass was
once connected in a gigantic "supercontinent" about
200 million years ago. Beyond some snappy alliteration, the word
Pangea reflects our production philosophy. We examine the past
to understand the present. Just as human societies are grounded
in the forces of geology, our production team takes the time to
learn about the history, goals and strategies of your world -
who you are, what you do, and why.
